Jerusalem has a system of shortcuts for pedestrians, walkways that keep you out of traffic and let you cut across huge blocks. This particular footpath is near our apartment and one of my favorites now that its massive aloe hedge is in bloom.
This is an ink and watercolor sketch on watercolor paper. My marker is nearly out of ink and I really like the kind of sketchy lines it made today, more like my soluble pencil than a normal marker. I made some adjustments later to the sketch at the apartment with Procreate.
This is beautiful from the brilliance of the flowers to the shades of green I feel as if I could actually walk up those steps.
I love your ability of being able to make one feel as if they have been transported to enter the scene

Hi, Sally! I really like this one! Seems you are having a wonderful time! I just read an article in paper today, about a Pyramid in Rome, from 2000 years ago. Restored and open/tours with reservations. If you and Peter visit Rome, it might be interesting to visit. I had never heard of it before.

Sounds interesting, too bad we are not headed that way. Maybe we can go together some time.
