Torrey Pines Beach

It is worth the 30-minute drive to paint at Torrey Pines. The day was gorgeous, slightly cold, and windy enough for good wave action. I focused on capturing the water current and cloud action with my brushstrokes. This is a 17 X 12-inch gouache sketch.

    This full of motion, even the wonderful sky! The day before I walked 2.5 miles down that very beach to Del Mar and back, with dolphins in the waves. So “beyond belief” BEAUTIFUL! It IS worth the drive.
