Run, Run from that Wave!

Sketch by Sarah Sullivan of Children Playing in the Waves

Run from that Wave!

Today I used some photos from my nephews’ recent visit and worked at capturing their delight in the waves.

This is an acrylic and gouache sketch on an 8 X 12 -inch black paper.

This is a FABULOUS SUCCESS! You caught the motion of the Ocean and kiddies, and the JOY they felt! The reflective shore water between and in front of the children really brings depth and joy and for me, holds it all together. Such a little thing with great impact! Also LOVE the dark juicy deep blue sea in the background. WOWIE Sarah!
