In the Hallway

In the Hallway

This is the last of the large sketches I did this past Thursday. The model, in red, posed with a kind of waiting attitude and I imagined that she looked like she was standing in a long line. Later when I added the other figures, I had them all looking anywhere except at each other, which is how it often is in a line.

This is a gouache sketch on a 12 X 22-inch sheet of black paper.

Your commentary is as astute as what you portray in your art.! So wonderful!
