Art under the Ponderosa Trees

We were a multigenerational group yesterday as we painted under the ponderosa pines. This sketch shows two of my nieces working, perhaps some of the younger or older ones will show up in a future post.

    Such a happy, feel good piece of art. Fun colors and a GREAT example of diagonal lines in the 2 trees, how they add energy and can be used to take the eye INTO the painting and lead to the focal point. I also love the 2 lines connecting the diagonal trees. Super shapes, lines and use of color!!! You could do an autobiography of your life with these daily paintings and verbal descriptions.
