My Sister and Her Shadow

On our last morning in San Pancho, my sister went down to the beach and took several interesting photos of her shadow. I was captivated by them and used one as a reference for this sketch.

  4. I’ve taken lots of photos of my shadow but never thought of painting or drawing it. I love this picture.

    Wonderful! I like how the shadow stands out like a cut-out of black paper against the nuances of colour and hue of the sand. Great feet! – the shadow always attached and can’t be shaken off.
