We painted another interesting still life from the Tuesday night Zoom group with great shapes and design. Can you see the reflection of the artist who set up the still life and took the photo?

    I love this. Not just the drama of it with the high contrast stripes but the idea of the photographer as being part of a still life. I also like the detail of the teabag tag hanging over the side.

    Must be a lemon tea brewing! I do love your colours – how the blues make the lemon yellow zing!
    And the Jan van Eyck like (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it!) portrait of the artist!
