Last Day of September

It is still hot in San Diego, and the spring green grasses on our canyons have long turned to dried-out straw. The yellow against the deep green of the trees are a lovely combination.

I was at Lake Muray and saw two people relaxing in the shade. I liked how they were silhouetted by the bright sunlight on the bare ground behind them.

  7. I like the use of the purples for the people in the shade. It conveys the literal idea as well as a cool temperature feeling as it would be in the shade. And what a great color scheme you have used.
