I found this overlooked painting in my sketchbook. I like the composition with the repetition of stripes and ovals.

    This works so well. (But it still makes me dizzy!) Is it the repeated and interrupted shapes, the complimentary colors, the movement of the plants “arms” or all these elements that make it so successful?
