At the Edge

I painted most of this en Plein air, a few weeks ago, and liked most of it, especially the brushmarks. But it had an awkward building on the left where the pond is now. After reworking it this morning, I like it all.

    I like this too. Those sinuous trees. I can’t imagine a building in this lush landscape. Your editing really transforms it.

    Thank you, Claudia. I think I originally put the building in because it was there, not because it made visual sense. I am glad I edited it out.
