Crows Enjoying the Sunset
Sometimes, the view to the east as the sun sets is spectacular, especially on cloudy evenings. I know I was projecting, but it seemed to me that the crows were delighting in it.

Near the Tide’s Embrace
I thought it trusting of this woman to put her cot so close to the water’s edge. As I sketched her, the waves came closer, but she maintained her pose and composure, never moving until well after I finished painting.
