
I sketched awhile at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens; this sketch includes the apartment buildings on the hills above the garden. I love the look of this city and the way it is laid out. Most buildings here are made of a local stone with a beautiful golden color that reflects the light. And just about every apartment has a solar heater on its roof so the skyline has a delightful irregular line, which I tried to capture here.

I saw this last week. Busy here moving Terry’s office, painting and cooking Terry’s bday dinner for forty. It was great. He only looks 2 days older than he did on Saturday!!!
