Bavarian Sheep

It was a wild and rainy day today here near Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the sheep who yesterday were at the far edge of their pasture were back in the center. It may be that with their heavy coats that a warm sunny day is too hot for them. In any case, some of the flock chomped away at the grass close to me and I was able to get this sketch between rain showers.

This is a 9 X 6 inch gouache sketch on black paper.

    I’m just a little disappointed you didn’t begin the text with “It was a wild and wooly day….”
