Today was a good day for rain and a good day to paint indoors, or at least to paint from under the shelter of the balcony above. I was going to paint the clouds over the mountains but noticed how I like the contrast that the curves of the balconies make against the rounded shapes of the clouds, mountains and trees. So I made this the focus of this sketch.
